The dimmer switch wont switch from high to low, the blinkers work and the wipers work. I need help. I bought a new turn signal handle but that didnt fix the problem, how do I change the dimmer switch? There is no way that I have found to get cover off behind the steering wheel to get to the dimmer switch, I pulled the steering wheel off but dont know how to get plastic cover off any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Is your vehicle equipped with the tilt column or the standard column? Which lights are working, the high beam or lo beam? May be a faulty fuse or relay instead of switch.

It has the tilt column, the lights are always on dim, when I pull the handle back to engage brights nothing happens. No click nothing. I have checked all fuses and all relays are in good woking order, checked that already, I need to know how to pull the cover off of the steering wheel column so I can get to the switch that controls bright/dim. The plastic piece is broken. That switches back and forth. The column is all one piece. No screws to take out, I need to know how to get that off so I can replace that broken part

thanks.

You will actually have to remove and disassemble the entire steering column to replace the switch. I can give some detailed steps if you would like. Does it have the column shift or the floor shift?
