Within the last year, I have replaced my exhaust system with Holly headers and Flowmaster exhaust. After a short period of time, my vehicle began cutting out and running real rough. I have changed plugs, wires, fuel filter, ignition control module and cap and rotor. I have also added a couple of comp. Chips for HP and fuel mileage. The one wired into the O2 sensor burned out and melted so I rewired to stock, but the one on the MAF is still attached and can be adjusted for max or min power. Still nothing. If I baby it, it still runs rough. When I get irritated and romp on it, it will hesitate and backfire then get up and go. I'm at my wits end. Could you please give me some advice. Thank you.

If it is a 94 with a MAF sensor, you have a CPI engine. They are infamous for injector problems that cause misfires at low engine speed, but will go away when hard throttle is applied. The updated injector from GM has eliminated the small valves at the tips of the injectors that stick causing this problem. Aftermarket chips can create their own problems as well. When it cuts out, wil it start right back up? If not need to see what is missing when it wont start
