Hi there I have a 1991 suburban and the blinkers dont work. Also the brights dont come on when I pull the switch but the low lights will. All the bulbs are good in the truck exept for the brights because it is a sealed lamp and I cannot tell. The hazzards work. I think it might be the switch because it controlls the blinkers and the brights.

Sorry for the late reply.

If your talking about the multifunction switch, yes, that could be the problem. Even if sealed beam head lamps, you could still check the headlamp wiring connector for voltage and ground. If you have good voltage and good ground, I think it has to be the headlamp.

If you have quad lamps, you have 4 lamps, two dim and two bright lamps. Two wire connector, the black wire is ground, the other is voltage. If you have the single lamp on each side, then the lamp has two bulb filiments, one for dim and the other bright. The black wire is ground, the other two are voltage, one for low and one for high beam.

I realize this is an old post. In the future, hope you don't have any vehicle issues, but, if you do, keep the site in mind. They are always working to improve the site and it's free to ask a question.

Have a good day.
