I replaced the fuel pump, engine ran great for about 30 minutes, then accelerated on it's own and I shut it off. Tried to restart and it would not start. Injectors spraying a lot of fuel, held throttle all the way open, engine started, ran fine, shut off, would not retart again, held throttle open, engine started again, ran fine. Any suggestions? Does this sound like a fuel regulator problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ok let me explain why the car starts after the throttle is stepped on. What you are doing is telling the computer it is flooded so it stops sending a pulse to the injectors untill it see rpm above cranking rpm. What I would like you to do is check the resistance between the terminals on the coolant temp sensor and let me know what you get it might be the temp sensor is telling the computer it is colder then it really is therefore sending extra fuel.
