Brake lights and blinkers

Im having a problem with my brake lights and blinkers for my tail lights. The brake lights will work when the headlights and parking lights are off but once you turn the headlights on the brake lights turn off. Once the brake lights are on and you turn the blinker on they blink really fast. All the light bulbs and fuses are good.

Sounds like the same thing I just went through with my 94 Silverado. The blinkers woul dblink rapidly when the brakes were applied and the turn signal turned on. Brake lights wouldn't work when headlights were on. Turns out the problem was a bad ground in the tail lights. Check to see that there is enough play in the wires so that the ground doesn't become detached from the wire harness. That was my problem. Good luck!

I had the same problem with my 1991 chevy truck. Drove me crazy for a long time trying to figure this out when I finally figured this out, I felt stupid that I didn't check it earlier. The ground wire on the back of the truck is supposed to be attached to the body, make sure it is attached good. This should fix your problem.
