I had a stalling issue with my truck it ran rough and would just stall while driving. I had it diagnosed and was told I needed a complete tuneup and a thermostat. After doing the tuneup and changing the thermostat the truck started and ran great idling in the garage. When it hit operating temp. It shut off as if you turned the key off! And would not start! I disconnected the battery to reset the computer and let the engine cool down. After doing this 3 times it would start the last time it ran idle for 20 minutes at oper. Temp. Than shut down again and now it won't start! Help!

Well, now that it wont start.
Check for spark with a spark tester, check all cylinders, note the spark.
Bright? Blue? Well defined?
All sparking at the same pace?
How about fuel pressure.

Now there is no spark! Fuel pressure was tested to be good by diagnostic exam. Is the computer capable of keeping the engine from firing if there is a defected sensor? It had coded a bad temp sensor prior to changing thermostat.

If the crank sensor is bad it could be showing hardly any signal causing that to happen but usually if a sensor is bad it goes to base programing and guesses so it will spark and run eventually.
Disconnect some sensors and try to start it, anything?
The temp sensor wont affect spark, just fuel mixture.

Reading through the post it looks like it was a replacement of the wiring harness from the coil to the ignition module.
