I bought a my Chevy with a 4" lift already installed.
When driving, then going over even minor bumps and cracks in the road, it seems like the suspension is very stiff and has a dramatic effect shaking the truck.
they had procomp adjustable shocks on it. Not sure how old they are. The tires are also wearing wierd and when just rolling at idle speed I can feel a rough roll of the the tires.

First, how much air pressure are you running in the tires, and what size are they. Second, are you able to bounce the truck? Finally, are the tire cupped, and are the a very agressive tread design?

Let me know. Also, let me know how they are wearing.

I go by the tire max on the sidewall. it shows 65psi so thats what I try to keep it at. the tires are procomp xtreme at, 305/65r17. they are an aggresive tread. i guess i can bounce the truck some what. the tires i guess are cupping. kind of hard to tell with the tread being how it is. each tread is kind of a raised block from the tire itself. each tread is wearing the back of it and the front of it stands a little taller.

They are cupped and will make noise. The cause is most likely the shocks. I will say this. Unless you are hauling a lot of weight, lower the pressure. I would recommend no move than around 45 PSI. That should soften the ride too.

Let me know if it helps.
