05 silverado has a vibration and some sort or transmission surge starting at 55mph. Once you speed up to 60 or above the vibration and surge is gone. I have replaced the speed sensors and had a new trans filter installed. This did not fix the problem. Any ideas will be greatly appreicated.

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked the basics such as tire balance, u-joints?

Check engine light has not came on. U-joints are good. Had both front wheel bearings changed, alignment and wheel balance about 2 months ago. The front end is as tight as it can get. I am stumped on this one.

It sounds like you have replaced basically everything. Does it feel like a misfire from the engine or the transmission slipping?

The engine doesnt seem to misfire. I was thinking the trans may be sliping. I ran the crap out of it yesterday and the trans seemed strong. Guess when what ever is going on finally breaks I will know what the prob is LOL

Does the trans fluid look dirty or have a burnt smell? Also, your other comment is often right. There are many times one must wait until the problem gets worse before they can identify where it is coming from.
