I have a 2003 chevy 4x4 with 5.3 engine & auomatic trans. I just replaced the alternator (Autozone machine indicated it was bad) and the battery still wouldn't hold an adequate charge so I also replace the battery. Now all my lights are having a slight stobing effect while the egnine is running. Is it possible that I still have an alternator problem?

GOT IT!
Just as I thought, the new alternator was malfunctioning. Producing 15.9 volts thus causing a surge to all the electronics and making the lights pulse/brighten and dim.

Check the battery cables for any corrosion.
