HOW DO I REMOVE AN ALTERNATOR FROM A 2003 CHEVY SILVERADO? I ALREADY REMOVE THE TWO BOLTS, BUT I CANNT LOOSEN THE BELT ENOUGH TO REMOVE THE ALTERNATOR

U can try and pry it off with a screwdriver

I have a 1997 chevy silverado 1500 pickup having trouble putting the tension pully back on for the alternator

You first need to remove the tension from the belt by rotating the tensioner.
