I was driving home from the city and noticed alot of steam coming from under the hood and under the truck, then lmy ights started to dim/brighten frequently. I look at my gauges and notice my "low coolant" light is on, I am starting to overheat and the voltage is creeping down as well as a squeeling sound from the belt under the hood. I pull over and notice the whole engine compartment under the hood is soaked with engine coolant. I couldnt find any obvious hoses/connection leaks. And looked at the ground. Not too much coolant on the ground, I mean it was alot because something had ruptured, primary spot for the leak on the ground was directly under engine(right hand side) and before the oil pan. The leak was a steady drip from above. I have a skid plate there to protect my tansfer case so this was an accumulation point Im guessing for it to leak onto the ground. Any suggestions as to what happened? I had to leave the truck about 30mi from the house. Didnt want to take any chances.

Sounds like your water pump may have failed. Check to see if coolant has leaked from the water pump. It is one of the belt driven pulleys. The coolant getting on the belt is what caused the squeling noise.
