The truck shakes and vibrates when you apply the brakes.I put new roters and pads on it a year ago and it is doing the same thing again. Can some one please tell me what I am doing wrong. The truck is a three quarter ton, and have only put 10,000 mi sense I put the new roters and pads on. Thank you

Chances are you are doing nothing wrong. Today's parts seem to come from China and don't hold up as well as the original ones. I have a question. When you use the brakes, do you feel the vibration more in the steering wheel or the seat? Also, does the truck have 4 wheel disc brakes or rear drum brakes?

Thank you so much for your reply. I feel it mostly in the steering wheel. It use to be slight but now it is pretty bad. The truck has rear drum brakes. Thank you

If you feel it the most in the steering wheel, then most of the problem is in the front wheels. If you purchased aftermarket rotors, chances are they are from china and are warped again and need cut or replaced. What you need to do is make sure the caliper slides are free and move easily and the caliper pistons move smoothly.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
