1997 Chevy Silverado wont start

My 97 chey silverado is getting gas and when I put gas in the carb. It will run rough until the gas is gone then it stops please help thanks

Welcome to the forum, If you have the spider fuel system, it is known for problems. Use a gage and check fuel pressure. If you already checked fuel pressure, what was it? Also, the fuel poppets are prone to sticking, open or closed, either way causes problems.

You might use a noid lite and check for injector pulse.
