1997 Chevy Silverado Truck won't start sometimes

Truck will not start intermintent. It seems to happen when we have had rain but not all the time. I removed and repaired the window wiper motor and hosed off the debris before reassembly. Tried to start next am, turns over good will kick back slightly but won't start. Waited 2 days and it starts fine.

I would first replace distributor cap and rotor if it hasnt been changed in a while also change plugs and wires too if they are old. Sounds like moisture is arcing out the ignition system.
