Hello,
I have a 1993 chevy 1500 truck that will not start. I drove to work and everything was operating perfectly, after work I came out and tried to start it and it would not start, I could smell a strong gasoline smell, and if I pressed the gas pedal all the way down and tried to start it and I got a few putters and that was it, if I tried to start it without pressing the gas pedal, it wouldn't even putter. I had it towed home. The next day I started swapping parts with a parts truck I have that has a good engine but bad tranny. I swapped the Map sensor, tps sensor, fuel injector unit, ignition modulator. I put new plugs, wires, and fuel filter on, but the same situation happens. It seemed like I was getting way too much fuel, so I disconnected 1 of the fuel injector plugs and the truck started to run, it was rough but it ran. I did check for spark also, and I am getting spark. What else could be causing the injectors to be spraying too much fuel?
