WHEN I PARKED THERE WAS A GRAY SILICONE SUBSTANCE ON THE FLOOR I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC HE SAID IT WAS THE FAN CLUTCH SO HE REPLACED IT BUT KNOW IT SEEMS TO SOUND LOUDER WHEN I GET TO ABOUT 35 TO 45 MILE PER HOUR LIKE THE RPMS ARE HIGHER IT USED TO BE QUITER PLEASE HELP

Hi there,

A new viscus clutch assembly will draw a lot more air than the old one that was more than likely not working very well at all, often my customers say the care sound like a 747 warming up as it sounds so loud, give it a while and it wont be so noticeable, if in doubt get your mechanic to re check for you.

Hi there,

this is the extra air being drawn into the engine, if you have any doubts, get your mechanic to inspect first hand and advise.
