When I take a turn that is just a little bit harder than switching lanes my A/C makes a "pop" sound and then starts blowing hot air; Sometimes when it does it when I turn the truck off I can hear the A/C unit making a whistling sound. I have already checked all the grounds. This is the first vehicle that I've owned that has A/C so I dont know much about it.

WHere does the noise sound like it is coming from? When it doesn't work, does the AC compresor still cycle on and off?

Something tells me the blend door is switching for you. If the compressor is still working, that is where I would start.

Let me know.
