I have a 2000 chev s-10. I just changed the clutch preassure plate through out bearing slave cylinder and the thing that looks like a master cylinder. It was working and driving fine before I changed it. I hooked the battwery upl and bleed it. I went to fire it and nothing not even a noise. I got under neath with the key turned on and jumped the cylanoid with a screw driver and the engine cranked. But would not start. Ive worked on some before and it had a wire that you pulled off the cylanouid then you touched them with a screwdriver. I dont know if that even has anything to do with it. Is their possibly wires or a safety that I forgot that would cause this to happen. Any feedback would be appreciated.

When you replaced the master you had to disconnect it from the clutch pedal. Right at the clutch pedal is the clutch start switch, you must have inadvertantly left it unplugged or moved it. When pressing clutch there is a electrical switch that closes 2 contacts to let the starter engage. Hope this helps
