We have a 1988 S10 with an ECMB fuse that keeps blowing when applying the brakes while going down the road. When the brakes are applied in park, it doesn't blow, nor in reverse. It only happens while truck is in drive. Everyone is stumped on how to fix this problem! Can you help?
Thank you!

That fuse controls the ecm and fuel pump. You didn't say if it quits running or not so I am assuming that it is. You'll have to find the short that is either going to the ecm or one of its' connectors. It may be one of the wires going to the ecm is worn through and shorting out. Your prom may be bad or going bad as well as that is in the ecm. Your ecm is on the passenger side behind the kick panel. If this truck has been recent ly hit there do to an accident you shoul d check for damage.
