Chevy S10 Extreme, 2001, 90000. Recently while driving my truck I had driven a long distance and stopped at the gas station. When I returned it wouldnt start when I first tried to crank it up. It wouldnt even crank or do anything at all, I turned the key and it just sat there. Today I drove about 100+ miles and stopped at the Grocery store and i had the same problem but this time it wont start back up at all. The first time I let it sit a little then it start up and continued to start with no problem but this time it wont start or crank at all. Any help would be great!

Sounds like the first time the car was giving a warning that the starter was going, but to be sure you should do the following first. Make sure the battery is fully charged and that all the connections are clean and tight. Next check to see if you have power going to the solenoid with a 12 volt test lamp or meter. Have someone else turn the key while you check. You should get a light or reading on the meter when they turn the key to the start postion. If you get a reading then the starter needs to be replaced, and if not you have a open circuit between the stater and the igntion switch.
