Okay. Car's running. Temp gauge not working.I shut the car off. Fan's still run. A few day's later. Check engine light come's on. I get the code read. It says it's either the temp sensor or the thermostat. Today.I replace the thermostat. Problem continues. So I went ahead and replace the temp sensor. And. Problem still continues. Lost here. Has to be electical. Burned or shorted wires or something. Not sure. Anyone have any ideas?

Don't get to frustrated. The car now has a fault code stored after you replaced to parts.
After replacing the parts, did you unhook your battery for at least 5 minutes to clear any stored fault codes.
Try that first. On restart does the check engine light come on?
Are there any other visible signs that your car has a problem. Can you drive up on ramps, crawl under and look up at the bottom of the water pump. What you are checking for is a drip or drop of antifreeze coming from the bottom of the pump (weep hole). Since your temp sensor sent a fault code, this is another related part to check. A malfunctioning water pump should trigger your temp sensor. If you see so much as a drip in that weep hole, the indication is that the propeller shaft is worn and your pump is now defective.
Good luck,
Let us know the results please.
