My daughter's 1995 Chevy Lumina LS, 134,000 miles seems to have a problem with the rear night-time lights. The rear brake lights work and so does the signals. But no lights in the back at night. Also, the dashboard lights are out. Are these connected and what could be the problem?

Start by checking all the fuses and bulbs(not dash lights). Its possible a bulb shorted in the running lights causing the fuse to blow.If thats not it then the headlight switch could be the culprit.Test for dash light powqer and tail light power at the back of the switch when turned on
