OK fuel pressure is between 60 and 63 psi.

Is the camshaft sensor under the distributer cap? I have a Chiliton's Manual and there are so many errors in it that I am not sure.

Did you leave the gage on and watch for leak down

Yeah I left it on and it stayed on 60 psi.

Ok, oh the cam sensor is in the dist check on the side and you will see the connector for it (just a guide )

I replaced the camshaft position sensor and its running like brand new. Thank you for your advice and your patience on this one.
