Tyring to figure out why my radiator is holding too much pressure and allowing my car to over heat. New thermostat and waterpump already on. Pressure build up then goes back in the resivor and over flows once it is realeased.

The system is to hold pressure. If it is still overheating and you replaced the t-stat and waterpump, check to make sure the radiator isn't plugged. Also, make sure none of the hoses are collapsing when it gets hot.

Let me know what you find.
