Hi, I own a chevy malibu classic 2004 and it wouldn't start recently. I changed the battery did the whole stick the key in wait 10 minutes and it started but would continue sometimes to not start.

I had a new ignition switch put in and that solved the problem for almost 4 weeks. Week before last my step dad wreck and was rushing to pick up my mom and turn to car off came back out and it wouldnt start. It did it again saturday but after a few mintues it started.

Well I just arrived to work and turned the car off came in the office went back to the car for a errand and it wont start. Does anyone know what is going on?

IS the security light staying on? Have you checked to see if the engine is getting spark and fuel? Is the starter working?

While I'm driving sometimes the anti theft light will come on but usually I just turn the car off and no lights will be showing, then try to go somewhere it wont start. When it doesn't start it try to crank but it just wont catch. It wouldn't start several times last week as well as this morning.

I noticed this morning after I got to work I let it run alittle bit before shutting it off and I heard a clicking noise under the hood. It clicked abt 4x then stopped and I have heard it do that since.

I appreciate any and all help!
