HI;
I am trying to determine if my 2011 Chevy Malibu LT does in fact have the factory installed remote starter. I have the original key fob which indicates it has it installed - the circle arrow.

I read an article that states in the glovebox there is a sticker that contains numbers specific to my vehicle. If I have particular numbers listed on the sticker then I do have the remote start installed. So, I checked the sticker and I do have these numbers. But I am still not convinced!

Will running the VIN on a particular website give me the information I seek? If I bring it to Autozone, even though I have no codes displaying, would they be able to tell me anything?

Thank you for your time and please let me know if you require any further information from me regarding this issue.

autozone can't tell you anything. go to dealer they will run the vin if it is capable of being installed then they can tell you Most charge around $110 or so to get it to work.
