I'm sorry this question souns stupid I know nothing about cars. I need to know what is the name of the spring the sits on. Not the long tigts spring, but the short, loose spring. I also need to know how much it will cost to get it repaired

Hello There is only one coil spring per side....do you mean the strut inside of the spring? It is covered with a protective boot which resembles a spring looking device..
