Hey I have a 1997 Chevy Malibu LS with 120,000 miles and I just replaced both lower control arms and now I am hearing a constant (not just when I'm turning) clicking noise from the front end of my car. I am thinking that it might be the CV Joint but I hope not.

Was this problem there before you changed control arms? If not, Check to make sure everything is on properly. It is possible it could be the cv joint or a bearing. But check everything else first

Ok I checked already and made sure that every thing was on the way it was before I started. I don't remember if the problem was there before but if it was it wasn't as bad as it is now.

One of the CV joints may have been damaged during the repair. The axles are not meant to be pounded on when removing the from the spindle. If that happened.
