window motor

I have a window motor that only works going down tried new motor got the same thing all the fuses i could find are good new switch does the same thing could a relay switch do this where is the switch located
it is a 96 chevy lummina sedan and it is the rear passenger window

Sorry for the late reply.

I'd have to check the wiring circuits for the motor, on hinge side of door. It probably has a protective rubber boot covering, just pull the protective covering back to expose wires, find the proper color and check voltage and ground, the outside wires in diagram, top. Because it is a reversing motor, the circuits reverse voltage and ground depending on which way the window is moving, up or down.

Those circuits go to the master switch. top wires.
