Sliding door won't open

Hello I have a 92 Lumina that's sliding door will not open. I have tried WD40 in the lock, opening from inside and out, using the power locks to unlock, trying to unlock the door from the inside and have tried the key to try to open it. There was no problem opening it until just recently. I can't access the inner workings of the door. Because it is shut. I'm afraid that the lock is toast. Please help!

So it feels like the door is locked? Might need to get a locksmith to repair the lock, and get you on your way.

thanks, I took off the plate on the inside of the door (around the lever). It was not letting the button up all the way. Simple fix. But it worked! Not to mention that there was no fee from a smith. :D
