Electrical problem
1998 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

1998 Chev Lumina 154,000 miles. I try to start and the dashboard lights come on and the engine doesn't start at all. The battery and alternator are fine. It doesn't do it all the time but it started doing this yesterday. I thought maybe the gear shift handle wasn't completely in park position. But this morning it started fine but when I came out of a store it wouldn't start but after about 5 minutes I tried again and it did start. Any suggestions? Ignition Module, Crank Sensor or maybe the Started Solenoid? Or something completely different? If one of those which one should start with that is less expensive? THANKS GUYS!

It doesnt crank at all but all the lights on dashboard come on just dead engine no clicking or anything. Then later it will start. Seems like something is trying to go out. Thanks again for your help. So check the starter and starter wiring? Not the starter solenoid?
