Well we rebuilt the engine because it spun a bearing, and go to start it, and it just cranks, pulled a plug and it looks like there is no spark. It is a 3.1 v6. I have no clue what could be the problem, Thanks.

Hi.

Question......

Did you plug in the crank sensor?

It's easy to miss, it is a two wire sensor on the Right side of the engine(If your looking at the front of the engine)
These sensors are also well known for failure.

If you have a DSO, check the pattern out of the sensor.

If not, just pull it out and look it over for cracks or the pins broken.

If all else fails, try a new sensor.
