3.4L, shut it off, then tried to start the next day and it would crank but no fire. I have no spark all fuses are good. There are no codes. I was going to change crank sensor, but my manual doesn't show where it is at, it says how to check it. Am I on the right track?

Hi:
You may be on the right track, but have you checked for power to the coil? Is there a security light flashing when you turn the key? Is the fuel pump working?

Found crank sensor on firewall side of motor by alternator vent, it was cracked. After replacement it ran great.
