I'd use a digital multimeter to check. Take reading across battery posts, everything turned off. A fully charged battery will show around 12.6 volts. Take another reading at the battery posts, engine running, the second reading should be higher than the first, if it isn't, take a reading at the bat terminal at the alternator, if that reading is higher, then there is something wrong with the wiring circuit between the alternator and battery.
