1995 Chevy Lumina Car Won't Start

Occasionally, I turn the key and nothing happens. Lights do come on.

I have noticed the Security (Idiot Light) will come on but will eventually go off.

I will wait for awhile and eventually it will start.

Sounds like a problem with the anit-theft system. Try using a different key. The light should go out after 6 seconds or so. If the other key isn't resolving it, it will need troubleshooting, may be in the ignition switch itself.
