Do you have a theft system? Have you tried cranking in neutral? You may have to do some testing at the starter solenoid. Make sure the tranny is in park or neutral during testing. If the starter field terminal is hot, with the key in the crank position and the grounds are good and the starter isn't pulling anything, may be something wrong with the starter?

There is a smaller wire at the starter solenoid, usually purple, that wire should be hot, with the key in the crank position.
