My car was running and then quit after a 'big bang'. Checked the tranny fluid and was a bit low, so added some. Managed to drive it home and let it sit. A couple hours later, it started so I took it for a drive. It ended up quitting again and I can't get it started again. A friend was over to have a look and suggested it was the coil ground as I have no 'spark'. If it is the coil ground, how do I know for sure and how do I change it?

Hi:

Place a temporary ground wire in the old one's place. Make sure it's preperly grounded and see if that fixes the problem. However, I can't imagine that a ground wire made a big bang.
