Interior problem
2007 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

How do I remove the inside driver door panel to get to the outside door handle to fix it. The outside door handle has broken and comes loose every time I open the door. Thank You.

Hi:
The panel is held on by a few screws and clips under the panel. There is a special tool to remove the clips, but if you are careful when pulling on the panel to unclip them, you should be fine. Note, the screws will be in the arm rest, door handel area, and I believe there may be a couple along the outside edge of the panel. Also, if you have power windows, you will need to disconnect the power to the switch. If you have a window crank, there is a special tool to remove the u-clip where the crank and shaft connect. If you use a small flat screwdriver, you may get it to come off.
