2003 Chevy Impala Signal and Hazard lights stop blinking

Electrical problem
2003 Chevy Impala V8 Automatic 20000 miles

This is actually for my husband. Different sources
give different answers with some year of the car being fixed differently from others.

Earlier years they claim can be fixed by just changing some light mechanism.

Later years 2002 and later they say it's the Body Control Module.

Who can I trust to fix this problem (finding a good mechanic in Southern California area) and how much will it cost?

I would check and replace flasher 1st

I appreciate the link however I don't know which
tool to buy. Does the tool come with instructions on how to check the flashers too?

Btw I already purchased a week from the repair site
you recommended. Truthfully it looks hard to me but
well "he" is the one who will be working on it.

Flasher relay is part of the 4 way switch
