I wanted to know why my temperature light is all the way down to cool and then it takes quite a while for it to get to the middle where it is supposed to be. Also my car is doing a little jump when I hit the gas.

Could be the thermostat it stuck open or has fallen apart. If theengien doesnt run at proper temp, the driveability will suffer, get it running at the proper temp first. Has it ever ben tuned up? Need to start basic
