We were told by the dealer when in for repairs that in order to fix our driverside headlamp that we would have to purchase the whole unit. We found out how to remove the headlamp so that we could possibly change the bulb out. So we did. But the headlamp still wont work. We did have water inside and drained it out. Could that have damaged the wiring to the unit? Is there a fuse or something else we need to look at? Or new wiring to the headlamps. Cant find much in auto manuals.

In the underhood power center there are 2 fuses for external lights. In the interior fuse panel is the headlight relay, put your finger on it when turning on the lights and see if it clicks, if not try swapping it with the a/c relay and see if that works. Check the fuses first though

First see if there is voltage to that head light when the switch is on. You will need a multi meter for this. If there isnt check the fuses and see if there is any blown.
