Car will run for roughly 10 seconds perfecly, can accelerate, or idle, doesn't matter. Then shuts down, has new fuel pump, fuel pressure at rail looks perfect, holding a solid 47, spikes slightly when the engine stalls. Mechanical guage indicated oil pressure good, but guage on dash doesn't work. I did put a new sensor on it, but guage still not working, could that be shutting down the system? If so, do you have a bypass solution since I know the pressure is good, and I will just hook up a mechanical guage. If not that, do you have any other suggestions what would shut it down like that? Seems like the ignition just cuts off. Will restart, run 10 more seconds, and shuts down again, does it every single time I turn the key.
Update: I am 90% sure I have a wiring problem to the guage from the sensor. My sensor (and the new one from the parts store) have 3 prongs in them. However, the connector although fits, only has one wire lead coming from it. Sounds like someone has modified it. Do you agree, and if so, any idea how I can figure out the correct wiring?

The fuel sensor/sending unit will not stall the engine-try checking for power when it stalls at the gray wire-all you got is 2secs to check for power before the fuel pump relay de-energizes-do you have it?
