ok I have a 64 impala but it has a corvette engine in it and it need a tranmission so do I need a corvette trasmission or a impala trasmission

Vette and impala engines are the same. Different valve covers. Trannys are dumb creatures. They don't care and can't tell if they're in a vette or an impala. The only difference might be the tailshaft length. Trannys are same
