I have a Corvette and only drive it about once a month if that. One day I turned it on and the passenger power window didnt operate. Everything else on the door panel works (locks) and so does the complete drivers side, its just that one window. What could be the issue.

ps: my battery has died before too. In case thats a symptom

Well, a few things could cause this to happen, a bad switch, broken wire, window motor. What I need you to do to determine where the problem is coming from is remove the door panel. THis will expose the window motor. WHat you need to do is check to see if the motor is getting power. Simply, disconnect the wiring harness from the motor and using a test light, push the switch for the power window. Keep in mind, only one wire at a time will get power, so you will need to check both. How this works is simple. THe switch reverses the power's polarity to the motor. Thus, when going up, one wire will get power, and when going down, the other will get power.

Check this and let me know what you find.
