Best guess. Some of the 90's Corvettes you could replace the mast without takeing the car apart. The mast has a plastic strip with teeth on for the gear. If the mast tape was broken you could turn on the radio. An the pull on the old mast. It would come out. If the mast was broken above the extentend level. If the antenna is broken at the lower. You have to remove the assembly from the car. If the replacement mast comes as a mast an good. Turn the radio on. Pull the old one out. Measure the teeth on the old one. The cut the replace mast to the excate length on the plastic gears only! Then have a partner turn the radio on. When the motor is running turn off the radio. And feed the plastic strip down the antenna hole. It will take a few trys to get it right. Until the gear connects to the mast. You may have cut the plastic more than once to get the right height. Good luck
