I have an 1994 chevy corsica and I was letting my friend drive it one night and she accidenly pulled off a curb to fast and put a big whole in my exhaust. My dad then welded on another pipe to solve the problem, but as soon as I started it up it still made that VERY VERY loud noise! What could it be?

There has still got to be another hole or exhaust leak somewhere. Maybe he didnt weld it good enough

It could be that it caused more damage, is it an exhaust sound or a drivetrain sound/

could be that it pulled on the manifolds or cracked/separated the piping somewhere.

Thanx blackop, that is absolutely correct, remember, an exhaust system is several componants that are connected either through nuts and bolts or welds and if you pull at one end it could definitely cause a problem at the other, meaning you could have cracked a flex pipe or, ripped it right from the exhaust manifold, so your gonna have to do a full inspection of all the parts, all the way to the manifold
