I have this car, it was my friends' dads and then he sold it to my aunt then I bought it from her. I bought it so I could get to school and work, but it never starts. I have had it for about 2 weeks now and it has started when I brought it to my house and one day when I went to school. On my way to school that morning it died at a stop sign. I got it jumped and it was okay for the rest of the day. My brother said it needed 2 new ignition coil packs. So I went and got them but it still doesn't start. I dont know what else could be wrong, I thought maybe the altornator was going out but even when I have it connected to another car it wont start. It tries to turn over but it just won't make it.

It could be a few things. First, I need to know if the check engine light has come on. Then I need to know if you are getting spark and fuel to the engine. Here is a how to for both. Check them and let me know which one is missing.

I have checked those things. We got new ignition coil packs and spark plugs for it. When you turn the key it tries to turns over. But its kind of trying to ride a bike with no chain. The pedals turn, but the tire doesn't. My car tries to start but doesn't "catch".
