I got a 1990 chevy corsica. The problem started out about a week ago when I would push the brakes the battery light would flicker. It has been sitting for about a week with out being started. Today I went out and tried to start it and it wont start. The blinkers wont work, the brake lights wont work, or the reverse lights. The headlights and taillights work. The only way the intrument panel will work is if the headlights are on. Do you know what could be causing this?

Check your battery first, I ll send a link to show how, you may not be getting your battery charged correctly and that would indicate an alternator problem, if the battery is low, then get a jump start so you can test your alterator too. Ill send the link to show you how to do that too. But you will need a voltage checker.
