My beloved 91 Chevy Cavalier has 180k miles and lately when I step on the gas it bogs down & will occasionally backfire. I can hold the gas to the floor & barely get her to move more than 25-30mph then whatever the trouble is seems to correct its self & returns to normal only to bog down again. I'm hoping it's just that she needs a new fuel filter...
