My 1996 Chevy Cavalier wont start

I recently bought a 2.2L 1996 chevy cavalier wit 205000 miles on it. It ran great for about a month than it died while I was driving. I had the fuel pump replaced as that was what I thought went out but after I replaced that it still will notturn over. Do you have any suggestions on why it will not start

Pull on of the spark plug wires and crank to check for spark
it may be a crank sensor
